Dutch drop brands

Drop manufacturer since 1910 with factories in Germany and Netherlands. In 1930 they started the production of a dropje with the shape of a cat which became very popular under the name 'Katjes drop'. In 1973 the brandname 'Katja' is registred.

In 1999 Klene has appearently been taken over by Van Melle. The Van Melle site however does not list Klene as a brand neither does it give information about drop.

A Dutch drop manufacturer since 1860. This is one of the nowdays rare companies that produce only drop and nothing else.

A Finnish drop manufacturer founded by a Greek immigrant. Besides liquorice also some other products are made.
They have a funny informative web site in both Finnish and English. Unfortunately you need a Flash plug-in to view it and navigation is quite slow.
