Drop

I wrote this page to inform my colleagues all over the world who don't know too much about drop. Drop is a black candy with a very specific flavour. It can be slightly sweet, but often it's a bit salt or even very salt. In fact the word 'drop' is Dutch. Officially the candy is called 'liquorice' in English, but for several reasons I prefer to use the Dutch word 'drop' in all languages. So DROP it is.

The main group of drop eaters can be found in the North-Western part of Europe; Scandinavian countries, Germany and, of course, The Netherlands. In Southern European countries and the rest of the world, drop is quite uncommon. Many people don't even know what it is, they dislike the black color, and are afraid to taste it. They don't realise what they are missing!
